Kevin Berger earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Kansas City Art Institute in 1982 and his Juris Doctorate at University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Law in 1991, graduating near the top of his class. His greatest achievement in life has been winning the hand of his wife Sarah since 1989 and raising their seven children. Kevin also helps pastor a church in midtown Kansas City and is a long time supporter of the arts community in the crossroads district. He is an avid tennis player, although routinely beaten, and teaches Political Science, Constitutional law and Debate at Whitefield Academy, a local high school.
Janet Vogini earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from The College of Wooster in 1984 and her Juris Doctorate at University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Law in 2010, where she received the Most Outstanding Practical Skills award for her achievements in UMKC Moot Court; and, placing 8th in the the American Bar Association’s National Negotiating Competition. Previously, Janet taught high school social studies, was a commercial real estate “scoop” finder in Washington, D.C. and homeschooled her three children. Her greatest achievement was going to law school while raising three teenagers! Having recently moved to the Brookside area, Janet finds her spare time divided by renovation projects and enjoying a glass of wine with friends on her porch.
